Which countries require visa to enter into the UK.
– Only non-visa national countries do not require visa to enter into the UK. All other national visa countries do require visa. Please see list of visa national countries.*


Where should application for a visa be made.
– Visa Section of British Embassy in the country of applicant resident.


Where to make an application for a visa or an entry clearance?
– You will need to apply in the British Embassy in your home country if you would like to enter the UK under any visa. If you are in the UK you apply to the Home Office.


What are the process times for a visa application?
This depends upon the application and location of the countries where you are applying- but as an average the waiting time is around 6 weeks.


How much does a UK visa cost?
There are over 90 different visas available and your immigration advisor will inform you of all costs related to your specific visa.


What methods of payment are available to me?
– Cash, debit or credit card, or by cheque.


What documents do I need to provide to make my application?

– There is no set list of documents, which should be provided at this varies depending on the type of visa that you are applying for. All supporting documents must be original and in English duly certified by official translator..


What if my visa has been refused?

– Depending the category of your visa, you may be given a right of appeal for example for an immediate family visit. You have 28 days to appeal. The application for appeal will be sent to the UK Immigration Court.


I have appealed. What happens if I win my appeal?
– Your determination (the decision) will be sent from the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal (Immigration Court) to the UK Border Agency in the United Kingdom, who will notify the applicant within 6 weeks from the receipt of the determination.
